The gardens of augustus with its view of faraglioni rocks and the marina are just stunning. On the north eastern point of the central capri town rises villa jovis ordered built by emperor tiberius.

Anacapri the other inhabited centre, is smaller and more quite town of capri with gracious streets, white houses. The most important monument is the san michele church with its beautiful majolica pavement. This is where the famous villa san michele take place, built on ancient roman ruins. Anacapri is a departure point and the trial to arrive up to monte solaro, the highest point of the island from which the view is enchanting.

tour of capri is not complete without a visit of the famous blue grotto an enchanted cavern that attracts visitiors from all over the globe. One can arrive by boat from marina grande or by land from anacapri to then transfrred onto little boats able to penetrate the very low and narrow entrance to the grotto.
